Carabiner for full-suspension
- Twist and screw lock carabiners are the safest as they cannot accidentally unclip, however, they may be cumbersome to use and take up space.
- Non-locking steel carabiners with 8mm diameter provide around 200kg of safe loading
- Carabiner are strongest along the long axes and should only be loaded that way!

Danger
non-locking steel carabiners need to be closed properly before any loading as the strength is only provided when closed.

Non-locking steel carabiners
- Ok to use for restraints
- For safety reasons, only use locking carabiners for full suspensions
